Sankofa Farmers Market This Saturday

The market will be held this Saturday, December 11, 10am-2pm, at 5500 St Claude Ave at the corner of Caffin and St. Claude. The market uses a token system, similiar to the Crescent City Farmers Market, which allows you to purchase fresh vegetables, seafood, and baked goods with your debit, credit, and EBT Louisiana Purchase cards. So, bring your paper or plastic to shop at the market! There will also be a raffle for a market basket of fresh produce and baked goodies from market vendors.
