NORD Commission's First Public Meeting

The first meeting of the newly appointed New Orleans Recreation Department Commission (NORD) will be tonight, January 11, 6 p.m. at the New Orleans City Council Chambers-City Hall, 1300 Perdido Street, New Orleans. A new beginning for NORD is underway and the commission wants you to be a part of the important work ahead.

For the NORD Commission to be successful, it will need a strong commitment from the community to make sure all citizens of New Orleans - young and old - have access to safe playgrounds, accessible green space, neighborhood pools and the highest quality programming. Spread the word about this wonderful opportunity for community engagement and plan to attend.
