Description: The Le Vert Home Tour will be a tour of residential homes that have incorporated "green" aspects such as sustainable designs and environmentally friendly, innovative techniques. The tour is intended to help educate the community of the advantages and ease of implementing these aspects.
Tour participants will learn about what is being done in New Orleans and what resources and materials are available in the community. The homeowners have the opportunity to explain the trials and errors as well as the rewards and benefits in utilizing eco-friendly and green techniques, technologies and designs.
The homes are sure to inspire homeowners and participants to entertain ways they can become more eco-friendly in building, renovating and restoring their own homes.
